To day, '' Mother's day '' is being celebrated all over.

In this era of social media, many '' days '' are celebrated, dedicated to a particular person.

Though I think, Mother's Role in our Life can't be confined to '' one particular day.''

She is present in our Lives,'' in all 365 days '' of the year. Our Lives are greatly influenced by teachings of our parents.

Father used to be the earning member, mostly remains outside the house. Mothers generally look after, upbringing, teaching of the children.

Though now a days mothers also go out on their jobs. But still because of their very nature, children are nearer to their mothers.

I vividly remember my mother, teaching me from the very beginning..

Telling me, Scores of stories.. Many mythological.
She used to read for me also.. The available story books, even Literature..

I remember her, Reciting from childhood of Maxim Gorky. '' Mera Bachpan '' Later I was reading it myself..
Thus I read all other other famous books.'' Of Maxim Gorky

'' . Maa '' which is closely associated with '' Russian Revolution '' throwing away the Rein of ' Zaars..'

I was also very much influenced by the communistic idealogy.. Depicted in those books.

Kanpur being an Industrial city where there were many factories of various industries.
Even one Communist, member of Parliament won several elections there.
But later things changed.
My mother told me Stories of Ramayan, Story of Shravan Kumar, many other stories of Gods and Demons.

Story of '' Savitri and Satyavan '' just to mention a few.

She was never tired of any thing for me. I can say that she was responsible for cultivating '' interest in reading '' in me.
Which is still with me.

She was very lean and thin. But she was always working.

I was the youngest in the family. There was elder brother, sister Was eldest among children.

I remember her, preparing food early in the morning, when I used to go with father to watch, 5 day, cricket Test matches being played at Green Park, Kanpur.

When I was in Intermediate, my mother fell ill and gradually she was confined to bed.

Those were hard days, we learnt gradually cook food, some how. We three were alone,
sister being married in another city and elder brother having a job at Delhi.

I got the job at the early Age of 20 years. In the same city.

Didn't think of promotion, for remaining posted in the city only.

Unfortunately She didn't last for long..
Father who was otherwise well passed away, having a heart Attack within three Months of her departure..
My mother departed in the Later part of month of May only.

We are always indebted to our parents for our upbringing.
